Is it possible to link two computers without a internet connection?

I was wondering is it possible to link both of my computers together. The only thing is only one of my computers has internet because the other computer has a virus some how and will only work in safe mode. So is this possible because i really need some information off of it? lol and then the other crazy thing about it is i know you can use the floppy drive but some how its not working.And then the computer tells me it cannot read my c: drive or find the disk drive.

You can use a hub or router to network the two together, however, beware because some (many) viruses are network aware and you may infect the other one.

Your best bet is not connecting the 2 pc's together by a LAN cable.

Might i suggest taking the HDD out of the dodgy computer and putting it inside the working one, extract the data you want that way. If one machine only boots to safe mode the network adapter wont have its drivers loaded. Safe mode loads only the basic software. Scan the drive for virus files when its inside the working pc.

Guess u can do it via bluetooth
yeah u can buy a lan cable and type the ip address of the two comp.. so that you can connect both comp.. try asking for advise when you buy a lan cable
