right i have a bt home hub and a router i use the bt home hub with my computers but now want to connect one of my computers to the other router while the other computer is using the bt home hub... if that makes any sense to you....thanks

Connect your computers to hub and your hub to router with a straight through cable then assign an ip address from same subnet to computers .then assign and configure another ip address to one of the computer and Ethernet port of router from differed subnet .Do not forget that you most configure your router in a appropriate way.
