Watch Traffic from Other Computers?

Hy Friends again!! :)

I have a question (hmm, crazy not?? :D)

How can i see Traffic from other Users-Computer? Hm, hard to explain... so: There are 5 Computers in our network (We have a SpeedTouch 510 Router) and we can download in month 10Gb, but, for example my brother download 6Gb, that isnt fair for the other ones, not? So how can i have a look, how much this people download? I dont think that this is illegal because i only use it for our home.Is there a programm out there or something like that? I mean, there are so many programms to look at the Traffic for my own computer from a SNMP server (router), so there must be something, not?

Anyway, i hope you understand me, and i do nothing wrong, but we have controll that traffic problem...

so please help :%26#125;

Looking at the spec for the router -- it looks like it have a management interface -- so my first suggestion is to look at manual for the router to see if the SMNP interface or the HTTP interface have counters for the amount of traffic from each machine.

Otherwise there are programs such as tcpdump on Linux which will allow you to sniff all packet that are broadcast on the network -- however if you and your brother are connected to different ports on the hub-then the traffic may not be broadcast at all.

If so, you can only do one of two things:

Either get a different switch with a management protocol that measure the amount of traffic per port, or

Alternatively, get a different (unlimited) package from your ISP
