Running x2 computers at the same time for broadband internet-how can this be acheived, simply and lo

I asked this question and I know about a router(and wireless) but the computers are in two totally different areas-so I cant have blue ethernet cables everywhere! One telephone point is really far away from the main telephone point here in the UK-and the other computer is upstairs!

Is there another way of doing this?

A wireless router will handle upstairs/downstairs just fine so long as you don't have metal floors or have100 ft ceilings

Cost is about $50 US

Try devolo's new dLAN 200 AV which is based on HomePlug AV chip of Intellon allows highspeed network connection in every socket of your house.

Okay. Depending on how far apart the two computers are in your home, a wireless hub is your only option. And considering that your broadband provider is already providing you with a wireless router then you just need to purchase two wireless network cards for each PC.

You may also need to set up a network hub so that both PCs will have access the router.
