We are using a network connection of 8 computers but one computer is not showing the main server ,wh

if we use a next one computer istead of that particular computer, we can see all the networks but if we use that particular computer we can see all the network except the main server.



note:- all the computers are free from internet.

It depends on the situation. For starters:



Check your subnet mask to ensure they are all on the same subnet. Check your route tables. Make sure you have net BIOS over TCP/IP enabled on the machine that can't see the server. If running DNS or WINS make sure the records are correct. Try moving the computer that can't see the server to a different port on the switch (the port may be bad). Try clearing your ARP cache.

There is no Netwiork Server. Becoz the Router serves as ur server and even all the computer is off and you turn on one of them. It can still run. But if u mean a file server You are the one who will change the settings to make a Main server.
